Fics Rec List~!

These are a few fics that I've read recently and just absolutely loved, and I think should be a must read for fans of these fandoms + pairings~

GLEE

1. [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] The Nicest Thing by morganstuart
Pairing: Kurt Hummel x Dave Karofsky
Summary: [senior year fic] In between PFLAG meetings, bizarre Glee assignments, endless phone conversations, unexpected allies, and the occasional trip to the not-so-local gay bar, Kurt and Dave grow close—close enough that Kurt is forced to reconsider the terms and conditions of his own preconceived notion of unrequited love. [Or, as Lady Gaga would say, baby, when it’s love, if it’s not rough, it isn’t fun.]
Why I Loved It: It details a slow gradual progress of Kurt and Dave's relationship, and how they evolve as themselves around one another. It's realistic, and raw in the best ways, and it will tear at your heart at some parts, at how conflicted and confused Kurt is, even as he tries to figure out his emotions and handling his relationship with not only Blaine but also Kurt. The ending gives a positive and hopeful note, and even though it's not the dream-like perfect ending in fairy tales, it is the perfect ending to an amazing and gorgeous fic and also true to the complex relationship between Kurt and Dave. You won't be able to help yourself loving this~

2. All We've Ever Done by flaming_muse
Pairing: Kurt Hummel x Blaine Anderson
Summary: They’d danced together so many times by now, and every single time had been special, because it had been the two of them. Futurefic.
Why I Loved It: I can never not love something written by the amazing flaming_muse, because her fics are just all so amazing, and she writes Klaine like she knows them completely inside out, and make this pairing even better with her words, even as she describes them perfectly spot on to the last detail of their character. But anyway, this future fic will at the same time tug at your heart, and also put it back together and make you want to cry and swoon at the same time, as per typical flaming_muse fic reactions~ 

3. Together by flaming_muse
Pairing: Kurt Hummel x Blaine Anderson
Summary: Kurt and Blaine, together.
Why I Loved It: It's a gorgeous Post-"The First Time"-reaction-fic, and it's flaming_muse, what much I can I say? <3

4. [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] (Not) The Same by flaming_muse
Pairing: Kurt Hummel x Blaine Anderson
Summary: The Lima Bean, Monday afternoon.
Why I Loved It: Gorgeous writing, flawless characterization, Blaine's thoughts on Kurt that will just move you, and tear your heart apart and put in all back again, along with an utterly realistic view of how they have changed after their night together. The emotions described are raw, and the fic will leave you with so many feelings. 

5. [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] Inhale, Exhale by rockinhamburger
Pairing: Kurt Hummel x Blaine Anderson
Summary: In the lead up to Kurt's impending graduation, their kisses begin to ache instead of soothe.
Why I Loved It: An amazing fic, which tells a realistic view of what happens to Kurt and Blaine when Kurt is a senior and has to graduate and go to New York, and Blaine, who was left behind in Lima, Ohio. There's angst, loads of it, and it will make your heart ache in all the right places, but the ending just so much more than makes up for it. Aside from Blaine and Kurt's characterization and relationship being captured perfectly, the other characters of Glee that were mentioned was also written gorgeously~ <3

6. The Meisner Technique by shia_labeouf
Pairing: Chris Colfer x Darren Chris (RPF!!!)
Summary: A rehearsal at CC's house goes very, very rogue.
Why I Loved It: This just made me giggle and swoon and then fan myself at the impeccable hotness throughout the course of reading the fic. It's just utterly brilliant, JUST READ IT! 

7. [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] Sometimes I Take The Long Way Home by likethdirection
Pairing: Kurt + Rory + Finn (FRIENDSHIP)
Summary: Gen Fic! In which Finn spies, Rory lets it out, and Kurt is a little too good at this.
Why I Loved It: Every single detail in this fic is flawless. Kurt and Finn and Rory, their chracterizations were just spot on, and there's epic Furt brother-ship here, and also epic Kurt + Rory friendship~ It will simultaneously move you and wrench your heart and also make you smile at the same time~ <3

SHERLOCK BBC

1. [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] The Good Old Days by cathedralcarver
Pairing: Sherlock x John
Summary: How did it get late so soon?
Why I Loved It: Gorgeous, gorgeous fic about Sherlock and John together when they are old. This fic will tear your heart apart, you will need tissues, loads of it. Words can't do it justice, but Sherlock and John are just flawlessly described in here.
