House x Wilson (!)
May. 23rd, 2010 07:46 pmAfter watching House for so many season, I have finally received much delayed enlightenment upon the existence of the House x Wilson pairing.
This abrupt change occurred just after I watch the episode 'Wilson' on the latest season of House.
God! There were so many tiny details in the episode which point directly to that pairing, and the chemistry between the two of them are remarkable.
Example 1:
House asks Wilson about Cuddy finding a new place to live. He then goes on to say that people who love each other should be allowed to live together and that ultimately leads to fornication (a.k.a SEX). And at the end of the episode, Wilson practically bought a loft, and had basically acknowledged that House will be living there with him, saying that "We need the larger refrigerator." ~!!
Example 2:
Wilson decides, in an extremely drastic move, to donate a part of his liver, House of course rejects the idea, but is unable to talk Wilson out of it. When Wilson goes in and tells House of his decision, House asks him why did he come over to tell him, Wilson replies that he wants House to be by his side during the surgery. House refuses, shocking Wilson. The reason House gives is that "Because if you die, I would be left alone." Or something like that~Now, doesn't that sound so heartbreaking to you??
Example 3:
They are bickering like newlyweds throughout the whole episode. And it could definitely be seen that House is very, very protective of Wilson. Even from the previous episode where he drugs Wilson and takes over his presentation in order to avoid Wilson ruining his career, it could be seen that House cares more for Wilson, he has never done anything so irrational, so selfless, so emotional for Cuddy. And in this chapter, he goes out on an even greater length, completely being out of character as he helps Wilson to search for a liver for his patient, advice Wilson to not go with the double dosed chemotherapy because he knew that it would hurt Wilson deeply if it didn't work out. House had practically shown his devotion and loyalty to Wilson through these small gestures whereas he would normally be a prick.
Example 4:
Wilson ultimately realizes that House is the only one that is always there for him. And says that he wants to buy the loft because he wants to 'punish Cuddy', since she has hurt House.
Come on, if all of the above doesn't scream House x Wilson I don't know what else does.
Although I understand that the main motive is probably to showcase House and Wilson really deep FRIENDSHIP, it doesn't alter the fact that it comes out in a completely different and DELICIOUSLY SLASHABLE way~!
It definitely convinced a non-believer like me~!
And now, if you would excuse me, I'm off to venture into the *ahem*--'sinfully delectable' pairing of House x Wilson fanfictions~!!
